The Kyarra
Swanage Pier have immense pleasure in announcing a series of five talks about the wildlife, geology, and coastal history around the Purbeck Coast.
Lying on the seabed about a mile off the coast is the wreck of the Kyarra. Arguably one of the most famous wrecks on the South Coast. The display of artefacts from this vessel is one of the most popular exhibits in the Pier visitor centre. Pier volunteer and diver, Nick Reed, will tell the story of the fantastic time capsule and the role she played in WW1.
Lasting approximately 40 minutes and there will be the facility to ask questions.
Talks will be done via an online platform, of which details will be sent a week before the event.
Suggested donation of £5.00
